Security Priority: ReinHost operates an Always On Guard policy. Network integrity and IP reputation take precedence over individual service uptime in the event of a security breach.
1. Managed vs. Unmanaged Plans
- Shared Hosting: ReinHost provides managed security for Starter, Pro, and Ultimate plans.
- Unmanaged Services: All VPS (Basic, Advanced, Power), Dedicated, and RDP plans are unmanaged.
- Administrative Burden: For unmanaged plans, the Client is the sole server administrator responsible for security patches, firewall configuration, and credential management.
2. Anti-Abuse & Infrastructure Protection
ReinHost maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding infrastructure abuse.
- Emergency Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend any service immediately without prior notice if it is found to be participating in an active attack (Spam, Malware, Phishing).
- IP Reputation: Activity threatening our server IP will result in immediate termination of the offending service to protect other hosted clients.
3. Data Integrity & Backups
- Client Responsibility: Unless explicitly included in a "Managed" or "Ultimate" plan, Clients are strictly required to maintain their own off-site backups.
- Forensic Remediation: During a breach, ReinHost may delete malicious files (scripts, binary payloads, or spam logs) to restore server stability. We are not liable for data lost during this emergency cleanup.
- Liability: ReinHost is not responsible for business losses resulting from client-side security failures.
4. Reconciliation Support
Suspended accounts may appeal for restoration after providing a written Security Remediation Plan. Contact our team at:
